AMI 0-3 Orientation Course
This course comprises 60 hours of lectures and practical work plus 9 hours of observation of children aged 0-3 years. It is suitable for:
* Assistants, interns, and trainees in childcare
* School principals
* Interested parents, grandparents, or daycare providers
* Anyone who would like to gain a basic understanding of Montessori theory and
practice
* Anyone considering obtaining a Montessori diploma
* Anyone working with a different age group
This course takes place online via Zoom.

AMI 0-3 Assistant Course
This course is a supplement to the orientation course (see above) and can only be taken after completing the first part. The course includes the practical part—i.e., putting the theory into practice in the classroom or at home. This course comprises 20 hours of lectures and practical work plus 9 hours of work experience in a Montessori facility for children aged 0-3 years. It is suitable for:
* Anyone who would like to supplement their basic knowledge with practical tips
This course takes place on site at our training center in Schönenwerd.

AMI 0-3 Diploma Cours
The 0-3 Diploma Course offers in-depth knowledge and a deep understanding of human development from conception to 3 years, with extensive study. This is not a «childcare diploma».
The course is suitable for:
* Adults who wish to work in a facility with children
aged 0-3 years
* Parents and soon-to-be parents
* Playgroup leaders
* Parent and educational consultants
This course takes place in a hybrid format – with modules
on-site at our training center in Schönenwerd and some
online modules.

Self-directed learning workshop
This workshop teaches how to promote self-directed learning according to the principles of Maria Montessori, including applications in a non-Montessori environment (daycare, kindergarten, school). The three-part workshop is suitable for:
* Daycare staff
* Kindergarten teachers
* Primary school teachers (grades 1–3)
This course takes place online via Zoom.
Our trainer
Tiina Suominen comes from Finland. She completed her AMI diploma for 3-6 year olds in Washington D.C. in 1996 and her AMI diploma for 0-3 year olds in Denver in 1999. She is also a trained primary school teacher and runs her own Montessori school in Helsinki, Finland.
Tiina has worked continuously in AMI Montessori environments (0-3 and 3-6) since 1996. She received her AMI trainer status in 2018 and has since led orientation and diploma courses in the US, Norway, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Vietnam, and of course here in Switzerland.
