In this workshop, we will look at the process of potty training based on Montessori pedagogy. You will learn to recognize signs of readiness, prepare the environment appropriately, and support your child in this important step toward independence. You will also receive practical tips for everyday life and have the opportunity to ask questions.

Our workshop leader
Jessica Scrimes was trained at AMI for the age groups 0-3 and 3-6 years. She was a Montessori child herself and her three children attended Montessori schools in Australia and Switzerland. Jessica Scrimes has a BA in Social Welfare from the University of Western Sydney, with a focus on empowerment and advocacy skills. Over the past 10 years, Jessica Scrimes has established and managed a bilingual (English/German) Montessori daycare center for children aged 0-6. She also worked as head of the registration team for the International Montessori Congress held in Sydney in 2005 and was the international secretary for the International Montessori Congress 2021 in Thailand. Today, she runs the Montessori ElKi and Blumenau playgroup in Adliswil.
